Experience the Magic: Celebrate 20 Years of Chicago Park District Natural Areas
Fairy season is extended! You now have even more time to view whimsical Fairy Houses this summer and fall. Starting September 18, check out all of the 20 Fairy Houses at Big Marsh Park in celebration of the 20th anniversary of the Park District’s Natural Areas and the Community Stewardship Program. This series, in partnership with The Nature Conservancy, continues through October 29.
The Chicago Park District and The Nature Conservancy worked with 20 volunteers to craft 20 Fairy Houses in 20 Natural Areas in celebration of the 20th anniversary of Natural Areas and the Community Stewardship Program. Community stewards help care for these magical spaces.
The Chicago Park District and The Nature Conservancy work in partnership to connect people to nature.
